Role Description The Casino Inspector is a full-time, on-site role based in Panaji, responsible for monitoring gaming activities and ensuring compliance with casino policies and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include observing gaming tables and electronic games, verifying adherence to rules and procedures, and checking that equipment, chips, and cash handling processes are accurate and secure. The role involves documenting incidents or irregularities, preparing reports, and collaborating with surveillance, security, and operations teams to maintain fair play and a safe environment for guests and staff. The Casino Inspector also supports audits, assists in investigations when necessary, and provides feedback on process improvements to strengthen risk controls and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify irregularities and potential risks in gaming operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting, incident documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity, ethical judgment, and commitment to fair play and regulatory compliance in a casino environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Panaji in a shift-based schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic understanding of casino games, rules, and procedures, or willingness to learn through structured training.
- Attention to detail and comfort working with numbers, records, and transactional information.
- Experience in compliance, audit, security, or gaming operations is beneficial.
