Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role located in Kolkata for a Cashier at Labh Garages. The Cashier will be responsible for handling daily cash transactions, operating the cash register, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient checkout processes. Additional responsibilities include managing invoices, processing payments, providing receipts, and reconciling cash at the end of each working day.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in basic math and financial transaction handling, including cash management and electronic payment processing
- Strong understanding of customer service and ability to maintain customer satisfaction during checkout
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and generating financial reports
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and excel in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a cashier or retail role is a plus
