Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role located in Satara. The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions, managing cash registers, and ensuring accurate payment processing. Additional responsibilities include maintaining records of daily sales, cross-verifying cash and card payments, issuing receipts, and balancing cash drawers at the end of the day. The Cashier will also provide excellent customer service and assist with queries related to purchases and payment methods.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in handling cash transactions, cash registers, and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in reconciling transactions, and record-keeping
- Customer service skills, including the ability to address inquiries and provide a polite and professional demeanor
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with invoicing systems and software
- Ability to work independently and under pressure during busy retail hours
- Prior experience in retail or cash handling is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent education
