We are seeking an experienced Level 4 Millwright Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with particular emphasis on PLC systems, industrial electrical work, and machine installation.

What you’ll do

As a Millwright / Mechanic, you’ll be at the heart of operations—right on the floor where materials take shape.
Your day-to-day:

 

  • Install, commission, and relocate industrial machinery, production equipment, and support systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment
  • Diagnose machine faults using PLC logic, HMI interfaces, and electrical schematics
  • Perform electrical wiring, motor controls, sensor setup, and control panel troubleshooting
  • Assist with startup, testing, alignment, and calibration of newly installed equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
  • Complete preventative maintenance and identify opportunities to improve technical manuals
  • Complete preventative maintenance and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and uptime
  • Work closely with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams during installations, upgrades and breakdown response

 

Your strengths as a Millwright / Mechanic

  • Level 4 Millwright or equivalent industrial maintenance experience
  • Strong working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems, motor controls, VFD's, sensors, relays and control circuits
  • Proven experience installing, aligning, and commissioning production machinery
  • Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and prioritize production-critical issues
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Strong understanding of lockout/tagout procedures and industrial safety standards while adhering to all food, safety, and quality standards 
  • Experience with PLC platforms (preferred)
  • Experience with conveyer systems, automated equipment, or packaging/manufacturing machinery (preferred)
  • Welding or fabrication experience is a plus (preferred)
