What You'll Do:
The Entertainment Crew Lead serves as the primary liaison between the crew, upper management, and performers in the absence of the Interim Entertainment Operations Director. This role supports daily operations by assisting during shifts and handling administrative tasks.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Follow established steps of service to ensure consistent guest interactions, and coach 
    crew members to uphold these standards throughout each shift
  • Able to work independently while maintaining clear communication and collaborating 
    effectively with team members
  • Welcome and engage with all guests to create a memorable experience
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt to feedback, and comply with all company policies and safety regulations
  • Maintain intimate knowledge of the roaming show’s clockwork to assist with locating roaming characters and children who may have strayed from their parents 
  • Lead Entertainment Crew meetings
  • Attend rehearsals, take detailed notes, and distribute updates to department leads 
  • Assist in scheduling rehearsals and managing performer call times, particularly for cross-trained individuals 
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for crew behavior and administrative tasks 
  • Send out the Entertainment Nightly Report 
  • Actively assist hourly team members throughout the shift and coach them to ensure the highest level of guest experience and adherence to service standards  
  • May assist the department manager with select tasks related to onboarding and training hourly team members
  • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by Entertainment leadership based on business needs
Qualifications:
  • 18+ years of age
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage schedules, notes, inventory, and crew coordination
  • Prior experience with theater operations, entertainment scheduling, and performance logistics
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Passionate about entertaining others
  • Strong conflict resolution skills to provide exceptional service and maintain a positive guest experience 
  • Able to communicate effectively in English 
  • Must have reliable form of transportation and be able to work flexible shifts, inclusive of weekends, days, late nights, and holidays
Preferred:
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Prior experience in entertainment operations, stage management, or crew leadership
Physical & Environmental Demands:
  • Able to distinguish colors and see both up close and at a distance
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Able to use manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills
  • Must be able to walk at least 10,000 steps per shift, including stairs, inclines, and declines
  • Able to pivot, transition between seated and standing positions, kneel, stoop, and lift throughout shifts
  • Able to work in confined spaces
  • Comfortable working in loud, distracting environments
  • Able to multitask and work efficiently with speed, accuracy, and composure in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and entertainment venue under pressure
