Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate Front-End Engineer to join our growing team based in Washington, D.C. As a Front-End Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our products through front-end expertise, connecting Figma designs and prototypes to clean, succinct React code. Your role will encompass the utilization of front-end experience to update and maintain multiple front-end codebases as well as the creation of high-impact component libraries to be used throughout each of our products. Key Responsibilities Front-End Expertise: Build and maintain multiple projects within the Cary Health sphere, ensuring the drive and completion of high-visibility initiatives in React, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Typescript. Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, clean code, handling edge cases and errors in stride. Code Scalability & Maintainability : Optimize code for quality, using techniques such as lazy loading, placeholder skeletons, and caching to ensure a pleasant user experience. Maintain and evolve front-end architecture to support long-term scalability. Write clean, well-tested code, following best practices and team conventions. Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and best practices. Perform testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. Communication & Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of requirements. Document technical decisions, patterns, and components to improve team alignment and future onboarding. Contribute front-end insights that balance feasibility, performance, and user experience. Promote a collaborative culture by encouraging open discussion of code and outcomes.
