Scheduling Coordinator
We are seeking a professional and dependable Service Receptionist to support our service department by managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and providing vehicle status updates. This role requires strong computer skills, an understanding of service scheduling and workload integration, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Work Schedule
- Part-Time Position
- Monday – Friday: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Occasional Saturdays as needed
- Closed on Sundays
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls to schedule service appointments
- Provide customers with status updates on vehicles currently in the shop
- Make outbound calls to schedule appointments when special-order parts arrive
- Coordinate scheduling based on technician availability and shop workload
- Maintain accurate customer and appointment information in the system
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and service staff
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a service, reception, or scheduling role
- Understanding of scheduling and workload integration within a service department
- Strong computer skills required
- Ability to multitask and manage a high call volume
- Friendly, professional, and dependable demeanor
