  • Act as a thought partner to senior GTM leaders, owning analytical workstreams that inform our most critical revenue-driving decisions ranging from sales strategy and pipeline forecasting to segmentation, pricing, and campaign effectiveness.
  •  You'll bring a consultative mindset, technical rigor, and business acumen to drive high-impact outcomes.
  • Own analysis of sales performance, marketing impact, customer acquisition and retention, and operational efficiency. Provide forward-looking insights to GTM and executive stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain scalable models for forecasting, pipeline health, conversion funnel diagnostics, and headcount/resource allocation.
  • Work closely with senior leaders in Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to shape strategy using data-driven insights. Act as a trusted advisor in executive forums and strategic planning sessions.
  • Develop compelling narratives and visualizations to support monthly business reviews

The Team You'll Work With

The GTM Data and Analytics team is responsible for delivering analysis and reporting that provide leaders with deep visibility into the performance of Carta’s GTM strategy. The team also equips teams with tools that help monitor their progress, identify key opportunities, and stay aligned with targets. Beyond reporting and enablement, the team serves as a strategic advisor, helping interpret insights and shape strategies to support Carta’s ambitious growth objectives.

About You

  • 4+ years of experience in GTM analytics, business operations, strategic finance, or consulting, ideally in a B2B SaaS or fintech environment
  • Track record of influencing executive stakeholders through data-driven insights and strategic thinking
  • Advanced analytical toolkit: strong SQL and Excel skills; experience with BI tools
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, CLTV, funnel conversion, churn, etc.) and how they inform strategic decisions
  • Highly self-directed and proactive; thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Strong business judgment with the ability to connect the dots between quantitative data and business outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a gift for simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences

Salary

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is $152,000 - $190,000 in San Francisco, CA. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
