Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Career Counselor. The Career Counselor will provide students with expert guidance by assessing their strengths, career goals, and aspirations. Responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, guiding students toward course offerings that align with their career ambitions, and assisting with career development plans. The role also involves organizing career workshops, collaborating with the placement team to update students on job opportunities, and maintaining accurate counseling records.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and listening skills to connect effectively with students and other stakeholders
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Understanding of career pathways, educational requirements, and job market trends
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other digital platforms
- Experience in career counseling or a similar educational advisory role
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the finance, accounting, and digital marketing industries is an added advantage
