Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Bhadohi, allowing for some work-from-home flexibility. The Carpet Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating innovative carpet designs, working closely with the production team to bring concepts to life. Daily tasks include staying updated on design trends, consulting with clients, preparing design drafts, and refining patterns and layouts to meet specifications. The role will also require liaising with vendors and ensuring that designs align with the company’s creative vision and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in design tools and software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD.
- Strong skills in Surface Pattern Design and Textile Design.
- Creativity in visualizing and developing unique artistic concepts.
- Knowledge of current design trends and market preferences.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
- Experience in the carpet or textile industry is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Attention to detail and the ability to translate customer requirements into stunning designs.
- Time management skills to meet deadlines and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
