Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Shuttering Carpenter role located in Gujarat, India. The Shuttering Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and dismantling formworks and structures as per project requirements. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, assembling scaffolding, and ensuring all work aligns with safety standards and project timelines. The role calls for meticulous craftsmanship, adherence to technical specifications, and collaboration with diverse construction teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical designs
- Experience in handling tools and materials for carpentry and shuttering work
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and construction site best practices
- Effective teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks in a rigorous on-site environment
- Prior experience in concrete formwork or shuttering carpentry
- Basic aptitude in mathematics for accurate measurements and calculations
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry is a plus
