Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter role based at our manufacturing facility in Jodhpur. The Carpenter will construct, assemble, and install furniture components using both traditional and modern woodworking techniques. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, measuring and cutting materials, operating hand and power tools, and performing framing and finish carpentry work. The role involves collaborating with designers and production teams to meet quality and design specifications, checking work for accuracy, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. The Carpenter will also inspect materials and finished products for defects, follow safety procedures, and support continuous improvement in production processes.
Qualifications
- Strong carpentry skills, including experience in furniture making, assembly, and repair.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools, with a focus on safe and efficient operation.
- Experience in framing and structural woodworking for furniture or related products.
- Ability to perform finish carpentry, including detailed fitting, sanding, and surface preparation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and work orders.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and finishing standards.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and handle workshop environments safely.
- Prior experience in a furniture manufacturing or woodworking workshop is preferred.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and willingness to follow company safety guidelines.
