Cargo Consultant

Cargo Consultant – India
Scope of Work
- Develop and implement cargo sales and business development strategies across India.
- Identify and onboard new freight forwarders, agents, and key trade partners.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers and stakeholders.
- Support cargo operations including coordination of bookings, capacity management, shipment handling, and documentation processes.
- Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and revenue growth recommendations.
- Assist in establishing operational procedures and improving service efficiency.
- Represent the company at industry meetings, trade events, and client engagements.
- Work closely with airlines, GSSAs, handlers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless coordination.
Desired Profile
- Proven experience in cargo sales, business development, and operations within the air cargo/logistics industry.
- Strong network within the Indian freight forwarding and cargo trade community.
- Good understanding of airline cargo operations and commercial processes.
- Self-driven, commercially focused, and capable of working independently.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with airlines, GSSAs, freight forwarders, or logistics companies in India will be highly preferred.
