Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cargo Assistant located in Mumbai. The Cargo Assistant will oversee the efficient handling and management of cargo, including proper loading and unloading of goods, coordinating exports, and ensuring timely freight processing. The role involves ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards, routine updates to relevant parties, and assisting in day-to-day logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cargo Handling and Freight management
- Knowledge of Export procedures and regulations
- Hands-on experience with Forklift Operation
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work responsibly in on-site operations
- Familiarity with transportation and logistics workflows is an added advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or related fields are a plus
