Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Caregiver role based in Pune City. The Caregiver will be responsible for assisting elderly patients with daily living activities such as hygiene, mobility, and routine management. Responsibilities include providing medication reminders, monitoring vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, oxygen levels), identifying early warning signs of health concerns, and escalating them to family members or medical professionals as needed. The Caregiver will also coordinate doctor appointments, maintain basic health records, and support consistent communication with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for senior patients.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic healthcare needs, including monitoring vital signs and recognizing signs of fatigue, breathlessness, or swelling.
- Ability to assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, routine management and overall supervision.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining records and coordinating doctor appointments.
- Effective communication skills to interact with families and healthcare professionals.
- Compassion, patience, and attentiveness to address the emotional and physical needs of elderly patients
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response is a plus.
- Proficiency in local languages and familiarity with the culture is highly beneficial.
