We're Hiring | Career & University Guidance Counselor 📍 Chennai
Are you passionate about helping students discover their strengths, explore career possibilities, and confidently plan their future?
We're looking for a *Career & University Guidance Counselor* to join our team and play a meaningful role in supporting students from *career exploration to university admissions*.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct one-on-one and group career counseling sessions.
* Help students identify their interests, strengths, and career aspirations.
* Guide students in exploring careers, courses, subject choices, and future opportunities.
* Support students in identifying suitable universities and academic programs in India and abroad.
* Assist students through the complete university application process, including application timelines, essays, personal statements, portfolios, interviews, and scholarship opportunities.
* Help students build and maintain an Individual Career & University Portfolio.
* Track student progress, application milestones, deadlines, and admission outcomes.
* Conduct parent counseling sessions and career awareness workshops.
* Organize university visits, information sessions, career fairs, and student engagement activities.
* Build relationships with universities, admissions teams, and higher education partners.
* Stay updated on emerging careers, admission trends, scholarships, and higher education opportunities.
* Maintain accurate student records and contribute to the development of a structured career guidance program.
Who We're Looking For
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Career Guidance, or a related field.
* Experience in career counseling, university guidance, admissions counseling, student development, or education.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
* Knowledge of Indian and/or international higher education systems is preferred.
* Certification in Career Counseling or Guidance is an added advantage.
