Role Description
This is a full-time Career Specialist role located on-site at our Kochi office. The Career Specialist will be responsible for guiding and mentoring students on their career paths in finance and commerce. Key responsibilities include conducting career counseling sessions, assisting students with resume building, coordinating placement opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with industry partners. Additionally, the role involves staying updated on market trends to ensure students are equipped with the right skills and knowledge for employment success.
Qualifications
- Strong counseling, mentoring, and interpersonal skills
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience in career development, placement coordination, and student guidance
- Knowledge of finance and commerce-related career paths, and an understanding of certifications like ACCA, CMA USA, and CA
- Proficiency in industry networking and maintaining relationships with corporate partners
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple students and tasks effectively
- Prior experience in education or related fields is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field
