About the Role
We're looking for a full-time Career Guidance and Outreach Specialist to join our team in Trivandrum. This is a target-based, on-site role where you'll guide students through personalized counseling, workshops, and training programs — helping them navigate career decisions and international education opportunities with clarity and confidence. We're looking for someone who's driven by goals and motivated to grow along with the organization.
What You'll Do
🔹 Provide one-on-one career counseling tailored to each student's goals
🔹 Design and deliver engaging workshops and training sessions
🔹 Organize career events and outreach programs
🔹 Build and maintain partnerships with educational institutions
🔹 Assist students through the admissions process for international universities
🔹 Promote Afresh's services to a wider student and parent audience
🔹 Meet outreach and enrollment targets through proactive engagement and follow-through
🔹 Understand individual student aspirations and offer tailored guidance on career paths and global education opportunities
What We're Looking For
✅ Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, parents, and institutions
✅ Proficiency in career counseling, guidance, and delivering engaging workshops
✅ Experience in event management, outreach, and program coordination
✅ Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
✅ Working knowledge of international education systems and admissions processes
✅ Ability to thrive in a diverse, multicultural team environment
✅ A proactive, target-driven, and solution-focused approach to challenges
✅ Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Human Resources, or related field (Master's preferred)
✅ Prior experience in career counseling, education, or outreach roles is a plus
✅ Familiarity with CRM and HRMS software
