Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Career Counselor role based in Indore, with flexibility for some work-from-home. The Career Counselor will provide one-on-one and group counseling to students and early-career professionals, helping them explore interests, assess strengths, and identify suitable academic and career paths. Daily tasks include conducting career assessments, facilitating workshops, creating guidance materials, and maintaining accurate counseling records. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to design programs, coordinating with educational institutions or partners, and tracking outcomes to improve counseling processes. The Career Counselor is expected to maintain confidentiality, use evidence-based counseling practices, and offer clear, unbiased guidance tailored to each individual’s context.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management skills to guide individuals through exploration, decision-making, and planning.
- Candidates should possess Student Counseling experience and the ability to support diverse learners with empathy, active listening, and structured guidance.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to explain complex options in simple terms.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, Human Resources, or a related field are beneficial.
- Additional skills such as familiarity with career assessment tools, workshop facilitation, data tracking for outcomes, and basic digital literacy (office and online collaboration tools) are advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid setup, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be valued.
