Role Description The Career Counselor at Tazen will provide one-on-one and group counseling to clients seeking guidance on career choices, transitions, and long-term development. This full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region involves conducting assessments, interpreting results, and helping clients understand their skills, interests, and values. The Career Counselor will design personalized career plans, support resume and portfolio creation, and offer interview preparation and job search strategies. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with other experts on the platform, maintaining accurate client records, and delivering workshops or webinars related to career development. The role also requires staying up to date with labor market trends, emerging career paths, and best practices in counseling to ensure high-quality, evidence-based guidance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management.
- Candidates should possess relevant experience in Student Counseling and guidance for early-career professionals.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear written communication, and empathetic client interaction.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of current job market trends, hiring practices, and emerging career paths.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and use digital tools for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
- Candidates should possess a client-focused mindset, strong ethical standards, and commitment to confidentiality.
