About the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students and professionals in choosing the right career-oriented programs, including Data Analytics, Data Science, Digital Marketing, and UI/UX/Graphic Design courses.
Key Responsibilities- Counsel prospective students via calls, emails, and in-person meetings regarding our specialized programs
- Understand candidate needs, career goals, and recommend suitable courses
- Explain program details, curriculum, career outcomes, and pricing clearly
- Follow up on leads and convert inquiries into enrollments
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in CRM systems
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
- Coordinate with marketing and academic teams for lead flow and updates
- Conduct webinars, seminars, or info sessions when required
Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA/Marketing preferred)
- Proven experience in sales, counselling, or EdTech admissions
- Strong understanding of courses like Data Analytics, Data Science, Digital Marketing, and UI/UX/Graphics (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Target-driven with a strong sales mindset
- Ability to handle objections and close deals effectively
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office
Preferred Experience- Experience working with training institutes or online learning platforms
- Exposure to tech or digital domain courses is a plus
- Prior experience in inside sales or academic counselling
