Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Career Counselor at Jain International Residential School. The Career Counselor will assist students in discovering their potential and aligning it with appropriate academic and career paths. Daily tasks include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, developing career plans, organizing career development workshops, and staying updated on current career and education trends. The role also involves collaborating with faculty and parents to guide students effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management
- Experience with Student Counseling and providing personalized support for students
- Excellent Communication skills, including written and verbal proficiency, with the ability to build rapport with students
- Organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with students, faculty, and parents
- Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Familiarity with educational trends, career options, and admission processes
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic school environment
