Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Career Counselor at our Kakori location. The Career Counselor will guide students through career planning and development, providing one-on-one consultations and facilitating group workshops. This includes identifying students' skills and interests, suggesting relevant courses or career paths, and providing job search assistance. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of student progress and collaborating with educational and industry partners to ensure alignment with employment opportunities. Excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to student success are integral to this position.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, active listening, and communication skills to effectively engage with students and stakeholders.
- Experience in career counseling, coaching, guidance, or consultative roles is essential.
- Knowledge of career development theories, job placement processes, and emerging trends in industries such as Finance, Technology, and Data Science.
- Organizational and record-keeping skills to manage student progress and maintain accurate data.
- Proficiency in utilizing digital tools and platforms for scheduling, presentations, and virtual communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Human Resources, or related fields; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience in educational institutions or training centers is an advantage.
- Empathy and a results-oriented approach to supporting students in achieving their aspirations.
