About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Career Counselor who can guide prospective students and parents throughout the admission journey. The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding student aspirations, providing the right academic guidance, and driving admissions closures while consistently achieving weekly and monthly targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end counseling support to students and parents, from the initial inquiry to admission closure.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable academic programs and career pathways.
- Follow up with prospects and maintain strong relationships throughout the admission process.
- Work closely with the admissions team to achieve weekly and monthly enrollment goals.
- Address student and parent concerns professionally and provide timely solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admission conversions.
- Continuously learn about academic programs, admission processes, and industry trends.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in any of the following:
- Sales
- Academic Counseling
- Student Counseling at Overseas Education Consultancies
- Proven ability to handle end-to-end admission counseling and closures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Malayalam, English, and Tamil (both spoken and written communication preferred).
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the confidence to independently identify and resolve challenges.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing processes and requirements.
- Positive attitude with a strong commitment to achieving weekly and monthly targets.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
