Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Career Counselor role located in Bhubaneswar. The Career Counselor will work directly with students to provide guidance on career choices, development, and management. Daily tasks include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing educational and professional goals, offering advice on academic programs and career paths, and assisting students with the application and visa processes. The counselor will also serve as a resource for students, ensuring they are equipped to navigate their educational journeys successfully.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management
- Experience in Student Counseling and providing academic and professional guidance
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support and motivate students
- Ability to understand and match student goals with suitable academic programs and career opportunities
- Familiarity with visa counseling and foreign university application protocols is a plus
- Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple students simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
- Experience working with students in an educational consulting or career advisory role is advantageous
