Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City for a Career Counsellor. The Career Counsellor will be responsible for guiding prospective students in selecting suitable training programs based on their career aspirations and skills. Daily tasks include conducting counseling sessions for students, providing professional advice on career paths, addressing inquiries regarding program offerings, and assisting with admissions processes. The Career Counsellor will also liaise with trainers for updated program details and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for all students.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively counsel students and guide them in career decision-making.
- Skills in active listening, relationship-building, and understanding individual aspirations.
- Knowledge of educational programs and training certifications, particularly in IT fields such as cloud computing, data engineering, and DevOps.
- Proficiency in using CRM or counseling software and basic computer skills.
- Ability to manage admissions processes and provide placement guidance.
- Experience in conducting mock interviews and assisting students with resume building is a plus.
- Self-motivated with a dedication to delivering excellent service and helping individuals achieve their career goals.
- Possessing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, HR, or a related field is preferred.
