Role Description The Career Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves guiding job seekers and consultants through career planning, resume development, interview preparation, and skill alignment with current market needs. The Career Advisor will conduct one-on-one consultations, assess candidate profiles, and recommend suitable opportunities within Medinext Global’s healthcare, technology, and staffing domains. They will collaborate closely with recruitment and HR teams to match candidates with relevant roles, support onboarding, and monitor career progression for continuous improvement. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate candidate records, providing timely communication and feedback, and contributing to career development resources such as workshops, training sessions, and knowledge materials.
Qualifications
- Strong career counseling and advisory skills, including experience in resume building, interview coaching, and career planning.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes, talent evaluation, and familiarity with staffing or RPO environments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to work effectively with diverse candidates and internal teams.
- Ability to conduct market and role-based research to align candidate skills with current job opportunities.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in maintaining candidate records and documentation.
- Comfort with using standard office and HR tools, applicant tracking systems, and collaboration platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications in career counseling or HR are an advantage.
- Prior experience as a career advisor, recruiter, or HR professional, preferably in healthcare, technology, or staffing services, is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and uphold ethical and non-discriminatory practices.
