Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide students in choosing the right courses and career paths. The candidate will assist students with admissions, provide course information, and maintain strong communication with students and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding courses, career opportunities, and admissions.
- Handle student inquiries through phone calls, emails, and direct meetings.
- Explain course details, fees, and program benefits to students and parents.
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into admissions.
- Maintain student records and admission data.
- Support students throughout the admission process.
- Coordinate with trainers and management for smooth student onboarding.
- Conduct seminars, workshops, and career guidance sessions when required.
- Achieve monthly admission and counselling targets.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good presentation and counselling abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to handle students and parents professionally.
- Strong follow-up and convincing skills.
- Teamwork and time management skills.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Experience in counselling, education, sales, or customer support is preferred.
- Freshers with good communication skills can also apply.
