😎 What You’ll Be Doing

Care ADHD is seeking a Quality Governance Officer to join our expanding Quality and Safety Team. This role will be crucial in achieving the highest standards of care, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting our mission to provide exceptional ADHD assessment and treatment services. The Quality Governance Officer will play a key role in managing our quality governance systems, ensuring all processes are compliant and efficient, and supporting the team to deliver their workplans.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Monitor compliance with all relevant CQC regulations and standards.
  • Develop and update internal policies and procedures to maintain compliance and reflect the latest regulatory changes.

Audit And Inspection Preparation

  • Coordinate and prepare for CQC inspections, including self-assessments and compiling necessary documentation.
  • Support the Quality Team with the coordination of CQC processes and inspections, working with the AD of Quality

Monitoring And Reporting

  • Support the Quality team to regularly review compliance status and report findings to senior management, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities, including audits, training, and corrective actions.
  • Be the system administrator for Radar Healthcare, ensuring all incidents, risks, and actions are logged, monitored, and resolved within agreed timelines, and shared with wider team.
  • Coordinate and support quality governance meetings, including agendas, papers and note taking.

Staff Training And Development

  • Support the Quality Team to help deliver training sessions for staff on CQC standards, regulatory changes, and compliance procedures.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to team members on compliance-related issues.

Continuous Improvement

  • Support initiatives to enhance the quality of care and compliance across the organisation.
  • Stay informed about changes in CQC regulations and update internal processes as needed.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Governance and Performance team to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate compliance into daily operations and strategic planning.

🚀To thrive in this role you’ll need to:

  • Tech-savvy - Proficiency using digital tools and platforms to manage documentation and workflows. Experience administering a Quality Management System (e.g. Radar Healthcare), including data entry, reporting, and user support.
  • Skilled Communicator - You're good at explaining things to people in written or verbal communication and you are thoughtful in all of your interactions
  • Attention to detail - You don’t miss a beat when it comes to data entry and written communications
  • Highly Organised - You know how to stay on top of moving parts and can jump from speaking with a patient on the phone to getting to the bottom of a missing document
  • Passionate and Driven - You are driven to deliver the best support to our associates and patients
  • Team Player - you enjoy working collaboratively and learning from your team

Essential

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a compliance, governance, or quality management role within the healthcare sector, including experience of managing a Quality Management System.
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and influence staff.

Desirable

  • A degree in healthcare management, nursing, or a related field.
  • Experience in a remote working environment.
  • Familiarity with ADHD services and care pathways.
