Job Responsibilities:

As a Beautician/Barber, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing services to the residents in a professional manner as permitted by state certification and/or licensure
  • Provide and maintain all necessary supplies, i.e. permanents, shampoos, roller, hairnets, combs, hairbrushes, hair shears, rinses, towels, capes, including the laundering of towels and capes, needed to perform the services.
  • Develop a list of the reasonable price for all services provided and must be consistent with competitive pricing in the geographic area of the Community and obtain approval of those prices from the Community Administrator.
  • Maintain itemized records of services provided to all residents.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
  • Hold valid Indiana Cosmetology/Barber license
  • Previous experience in the health care field is preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented and demonstrate ability to apply established procedures with a high degree of accuracy, responsibility, and confidentiality.
