About the role
Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Assist with product and process inspections to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Support data collection, analysis, and reporting of quality metrics (e.g., product testing, defects, process issues)
- Help maintain quality documentation, including work instructions, inspection records, and corrective actions
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities
- Assist with internal audits and preparation for external audits, as needed
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects
- Observe and follow all safety, quality, and company policies
- Perform additional quality-related tasks as assigned
- Other activities, duties and responsibilities as assigned

- Maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Accept more challenging assignments as experience and knowledge allows
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal communication, preferred public speaking experience
- Excellent written communication including grammatical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Must be able appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information and exercise discretion
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Exercise good judgment in decision making, ideas, and all aspects relating to the SBLG team, Cardinal Glass Industries, and other company relationships.
