Dharmaveer Anand Dighe Heart Care Centre, housed within the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital in Kalwa, functions under Platinum Hospital Pvt Ltd. As an 80-bedded cardiac unit, the center is equipped with an ICU, a state-of-the-art Cath Lab, and two dedicated cardiac operation theaters. The unit operates as an outsourced facility in collaboration with the government-owned Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital and Thane Municipal Corporation, providing specialized cardiac care.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Cardiac Anesthetist located in Thane. The role involves evaluating patients’ medical history and risk factors, administering anesthesia during cardiac surgeries, and ensuring patient safety. The Cardiac Anesthetist will collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care. Monitoring patients' vital signs during procedures and managing pain relief post-surgery are also integral parts of the role.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in cardiac anesthesia and pain management
- Ability to perform pre-operative assessments and create tailored anesthesia plans
- Proficiency in monitoring and managing patient vitals during surgery
- Strong collaboration skills to work with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals
- Advanced certifications such as MD/DNB in Anesthesiology with relevant cardiac specialization
- Experience in a cardiac care setting is highly desirable
- Commitment to upholding patient safety and delivering compassionate care
- Possess excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure
