Legal Working Student

Join the Legal & Compliance team of Europe’s first climate-focused private equity platform. Carbon Equity is a fast-growing, mission-driven scale-up making private market climate investing accessible to more people. Backed by leading VCs and licensed as an AIFM, we’re expanding internationally and launching innovative funds like ELTIFs and Article 9 vehicles. As a Legal Working Student, you’ll get hands-on experience in a dynamic regulatory environment – and help us tackle climate change through finance.

Position: Legal Working Student

Location: Amsterdam

Time commitment: Minimum 2 days per week

Your Role We’re looking for a highly motivated Legal Working Student to support our legal and compliance team with a wide variety of legal, compliance, regulatory, and operational tasks.

What You’ll Dow

• Support legal and regulatory filings
• Assist in drafting and reviewing fund documents, investor contracts, and internal policies
• Conduct legal research on (upcoming) Dutch and EU financial regulation
• Assist in preparing regulatory reporting
• Collaborate with our investor operations team on investor communication and onboarding
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Enrolled in a Master’s or finalising a Bachelor’s in Law (Dutch/EU financial law focus preferred)
• Interest in financial regulation, investment funds and climate tech
• Sharp attention to detail and a hands-on, proactive mindset
• Excellent written and spoken in Dutch and English
• Availability at least two days per week, working from our Amsterdam office
