Captain
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service and create memorable dining experiences.
- Welcome guests, present menus and confidently recommend food and beverage pairings.
- Ensure smooth table service by coordinating effectively with the kitchen and bar teams.
- Supervise and guide Service Crew members during operations.
- Handle guest requests, feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Maintain restaurant hygiene, grooming and service standards at all times.
- Ensure accurate order taking, billing and settlement.
- Assist in achieving sales targets through suggestive selling and upselling.
- Support opening and closing restaurant operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of experience as a Captain in a premium casual dining, fine dining or luxury hotel restaurant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for guest service and attention to detail.
- Team player with leadership qualities and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines will be an added advantage.
Qualification
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- Relevant hospitality experience is mandatory.
