Restaurant Captain (5 Positions)Role Overview: You are the face of the floor. As a Captain at Arbab, you bridge the gap between the kitchen and the guest, ensuring that every meal is a curated experience rather than just a transaction.
- Guest Experience: Lead the guest journey from seating to departure, offering expert recommendations on Lebanese mezze, grills, and pairings.
- Order Management: Oversee the accuracy of the POS system entries and ensure the pace of service matches the guest's needs.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a designated section of Stewards, providing real-time coaching and ensuring side-station readiness.
- Quality Control: Conduct final checks on food presentation and temperature before it reaches the table.
- Complaint Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for guest feedback, resolving issues with grace and professionalism.
Requirements: * 3+ years in fine dining or premium casual dining.
- Excellent command of English and Hindi.
- Deep understanding of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern flavor profiles is a plus.
Steward / Commis de Rang (5 Positions)Role Overview: The engine of the dining room. Your role is to maintain the flow of service with speed, agility, and a "guest-first" mindset.
- Table Maintenance: Execute flawless table setups, ensuring all cutlery, glassware, and linen meet Arbab’s premium standards.
- Service Execution: Assist Captains in serving food and beverages efficiently while following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Clearance & Turnaround: Maintain a clean environment by clearing soiled dishes promptly and resetting tables for the next guest without delay.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a basic understanding of the menu to answer guest queries regarding ingredients or allergens.
- Support Duties: Manage side-work, including polishing silverware, folding napkins, and restocking service stations.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in the F&B industry (Freshers with HM degrees are welcome).
- High energy levels and the ability to stand for long shifts.
- A groomed, professional appearance suitable for a high-end Mumbai brand.
