About Benne – Heritage Bangalore Dosa
Akhil and Shriya, a filmmaker and a psychologist, shared a deep love for dosas. Missing the iconic Bangalore-style dosa in Mumbai, they embarked on a quest to recreate their childhood favorite. Role Description
At Benne, it is all about warmth, care, and unforgettable experiences. As a Captain, you’ll be the face of our service, leading the front-of-house team, guiding guests , and ensuring every detail of their experience feels effortless. From welcoming guests at the door to making sure their last sip of filter coffee is perfect, you’ll make every visit to Benne feel special.

About the Role
As a Captain, you will lead front-of-house operations and ensure every guest has a smooth, memorable dining experience. From managing the floor and supporting your team to coordinating with the kitchen, you’ll play a key role in delivering Benne’s service standards.
What You’ll Do
- Manage floor operations and guest flow.
- Welcome guests and ensure a great dining experience.
- Coordinate with the kitchen for smooth and timely service.
- Supervise and support service staff and runners.
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues quickly.
- Maintain service standards, hygiene, and SOPs.
- Support billing and cash handling when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and people skills
- A natural sense of hospitality and problem-solving
- Ability to stay composed and efficient in fast-paced environments
- Prior FOH or guest-facing experience preferred
