VMware Administrator

A motivated self-starter
3 + years of experience in systems administration with 2 years of experience working with virtualization technologies
Not a must-Advanced Technical Certifications including knowledge of virtualization, networking, storage and compute server platforms
Experience with VMware ESXi server 5.x
Experience with Windows Servers 2003/2008,Windows desktop operating systems XP and Windows 7
Experience with Redhat Enterprise Linux 5/6
Experience with VMware vCenter Server
Experience with VMware View
Strong technical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and digest technical information
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues within multiple systems
Ability to visualize overall view of systems and conceptualize and document creative solutions
Strong attention to detail
Strong customer focus, including the ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills



ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of and familiarity with System Administration, Software Application Installation & troubleshooting, Web Server Administration, Windows Server 2003/2008, UNIX/Linux, SQL Server, Backup/Restore, Patches, Migration, Production Databases, Business Continuity, and Project Management, and VMware products (vCenter, View, ESXi)
