Summer Internship - Software Development

Capital Technology Group (CTG) is seeking motivated undergraduate and graduate computer science students for its upcoming summer internship program. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an innovative team, build software that has a real-world impact, and gain hands-on experience in professional software development! This position is a fully remote, 40 hours per week, paid internship that will run from June 23rd to August 15th (8 weeks). Over the course of the program, interns will be immersed in technical projects designed to tackle real-world challenges. Each intern will be paired with a CTG technical mentor and collaborate with small groups to develop applications using leading-edge technologies, including AWS cloud services, modern frameworks, and agile methodologies. Interns will also participate in a weekly speaker series consisting of technical presentations by CTG employees, covering key topics like software development, DevOps, data analysis, and visualization. The program will conclude with an end-of-summer presentation where each intern will showcase their work. Responsibilities Contribute to the development of software applications as part of a small, collaborative team Work on technical projects involving software development, data analysis, and cloud technologies Participate in technical discussions and learn from industry experts during weekly speaker sessions Complete an end-of-summer project presentation Requirements US Citizen College student majoring in Computer Science or a related field (priority given to rising seniors) At least two examples of past software development projects uploaded to an accessible Git repository (may be school or personal projects demonstrating strong technical skills) Experience with Java or Python Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React Familiarity with Linux shell environment and Git Nice to Have Any public-facing sites, apps, or demos you have created yourself A proactive mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for using technology to solve real-world problems Why Intern with Capital Technology Group?
