About the role
Reports to: Head of Group External Communications Location: Remote UK based, able to travel to our Head Office in London when required A new position, Manager – Group Media & External Communications will play a crucial role in managing a busy press office and proactively building our profile and communicating Capita's transformation narrative to key external stakeholders via national media, trade press, social media, and digital channels. Whilst our clients and prospects are mostly large private companies and public sector bodies, our work touches individuals so our work sometimes has a B2C angle to it. You will also help manage and implement external communications to support on issues management. A key member of the Corporate Communications team, you will report to our Head of Group External Communications, and will work closely with our social media manager, internal communications team and divisional communications teams, as well as liaising closely with public affairs and external agencies.
