About the role
Your role
We’re hiring a skilled and motivated Mimecast Email Security Engineer across PAN India to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 9 years of hands-on experience in managing and securing large-scale enterprise email environments using Mimecast and Microsoft 365.
- Deep expertise in Mimecast policy management, including Impersonation Protection, URL Protect, Attachment Protect, and Anti-Spam policies.Perform email threat investigations such as BEC, phishing, spoofing, and malicious payload analysis.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC design, implementation, and enforcement strategies.
- Skilled in message tracking, mail flow troubleshooting, routing analysis, and campaign scoping.
- Proficient in email remediation activities including pullback, quarantine management, and routing corrections.
- Ability to tune security policies to reduce false positives and false negatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive proactive improvements in email security posture.
- Produce clear documentation, reports, and metrics for stakeholders.
Your profile
- Proven experience administering Mimecast Email Security in a production environment.
- Good understanding of email protocols, SMTP routing, and authentication mechanisms.
- Exposure to security operations, incident response, and threat analysis for email platforms.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to take ownership of operational tasks and drive continuous improvement.
