Capgemini conducts a Communication Test as part of its hiring process to evaluate candidates on their English communication and comprehension abilities. This round is mandatory for several roles including (Software Engineer), Analyst, and other fresher positions. The Capgemini Communication Test is divided into multiple sections designed to evaluate your English proficiency, communication skills, and listening ability. 1. Grammar & Vocabulary Sentence correction Error spotting Fill in the blanks Synonyms/Antonyms Prepositions & Articles Tests your basic English grammar knowledge. 2. Reading Comprehension Small to medium-length passages MCQs based on facts, inference, tone, and vocabulary Questions test your understanding, speed reading, and accuracy. 3. Listening Skills Audio clips will be played (1–2 minutes long) Candidates must answer questions based on the clip Focuses on listening comprehension, pronunciation, and information grasping. 4. Written Communication Short essay or email writing task Word limit: 150–200 words (approx.) Topics: General issues, workplace situations, social topics Evaluated on clarity, grammar, structure, and vocabulary usage
