A bit about the role:
AI and Gaming go together like peanut butter and jelly. We believe some of the best ways to build relationships with other users (bots and human alike) on the platform will be by playing games with them.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Developer with a robust background in mobile/web technologies, and a passion for gaming. This role involves designing and building out our AI-embedded, mobile-first gaming platform while also handling various aspects of iOS and Android development.
A bit about the work:
Design and implement mobile applications, focusing on integrating dynamic game states and interactions.
Manage game states and communicate between web and mobile platforms.
Contribute to rapid prototyping of game concepts, working on vertical slices and iterating on gameplay elements to refine user experiences.
Work closely with our QA team and other developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality across platforms.
Regularly interact with community ambassadors and incorporate feedback into development.
Stay at the forefront of gaming technology and trends, bringing fresh ideas to our game designs and interactions.
A bit about you:
5+ years of experience in software game development, or alternatively, experience with dating apps or social media
Proficiency in web technologies (React, JavaScript, HTML5) and mobile development (iOS and Android).
Experience with game development frameworks like Phaser and WebGL is a plus.
Experience in prototyping and iterating on games, with an understanding of vertical slices and game development lifecycle.
Ability to adapt to different technologies and quickly shift focus between web and mobile development.
Enthusiastic about games, new interaction modes, and building innovative experiences.
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a strong drive to deliver playable builds quickly.
Invested in understanding the product deeply and excited about discovering new ways to engage users.
