Role Overview
Hera Technologies is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to support daily inventory and material movement activities on the production floor. This role is highly hands-on and responsible for executing material transactions, maintaining organization, and ensuring accurate inventory records within the ERP system.
The ideal candidate has foundational warehouse experience, understands SKU-based inventory, and is comfortable operating forklifts and working closely with multiple departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily material movement including receiving, stocking, issuing, and transferring inventory
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
Execute inventory transactions in ERP systems to maintain accurate records
Support cycle counts and assist with inventory audits as directed by Inventory Control Lead
Ensure proper labeling, identification, and storage of materials and SKUs
Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse and stockroom areas (5S standards)
Pull and stage materials for production in alignment with work orders and schedules
Track and manage WIP (Work in Process) inventory across the shop floor
Communicate material shortages or discrepancies to leadership
Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
1–3 years of warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience in a manufacturing environment
Basic understanding of warehouse layout, inventory flow, and SKU management
Experience using ERP systems for inventory transactions (JobBoss, Epicor, Oracle, etc. experience a plus)
Forklift certification required or willingness/ability to obtain certification
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and material handling
Ability to read part numbers, labels, and work orders
Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments
Familiarity with AS9100 / ISO9001 standards and traceability practices
Experience supporting cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives
Basic knowledge of lean principles (5S, FIFO, Kanban)
Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, etc.)
