Finance Manager (Accounting and Controlling) (d/f/m) | 50-80%

We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join our Finance department. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys balancing detail-oriented bookkeeping with strategic financial thinking.

Tasks

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports


• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks (accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll coordination)


• Act as a sparring partner to the COO on financial matters (budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, investor reporting)


• Identify financial trends and opportunities for cost savings or operational improvements


• Oversee accurate bookkeeping (Bexio)


• Support in administrative tasks related to financial contracts, vendor management, and documentation control

Requirements

Skill Set We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years experience in accounting, financial reporting, and/or controlling


• Proven ability to work autonomously, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement


• Strong command of accounting tools (e.g. Bexio) and Excel


• Creative and solution-oriented mindset, with the capability to address complex challenges pragmatically and effectively


• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent professional qualification)


• Experience with exposure to investors and familiarity with fundraising processes
