SW Quality Engineer III

Candescent is currently searching for a highly motivated and experienced Software Quality Engineer with a primary focus on test automation and solid experience in manual testing for banking applications. The role involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright with Cucumber, along with performing manual testing activities such as test case creation, test execution, regression testing, and defect tracking. The engineer will also support application‑related support issues, including validation of fixes and coordination with development teams. Experience creating test cases for new applications using PractiTest and exposure to performance testing using JMeter is preferred. This role requires participation in a second shift once a week in a month (4:00 PM IST to 1:00 AM IST) to support application needs.
