New employees can earn 55K in total compensation when working at Canam Steel Corp for a 40-50 hour work week. This includes the base rate, shift differential, overtime, retention and production bonuses.
There are additional ways to earn including referral bonuses and mentoring incentives.
Position is full-time with benefits!
1st Shift
8 hour shift schedule:
Monday - Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
9 hour shift schedule:
Monday - Thursday Day shift - 5:00 AM - 2:30 AM
Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30PM
Mandatory alternating Saturdays Day shift - 5:00 AM - 1:30PM
*Must be able to work all shift schedules
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
â Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures.
â Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications.
â Operate overhead cranes for efficient material handling.
â Operate 1 machine (Stud machine, Bridging Stacker, Stacker and Painters).
â Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as required.
â Maintain a clean and organized work area.
â Adhere to safety protocols.
â Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
â Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.
