About the role

The Leadership Management Trainee - Operations program is designed to provide trainees with a comprehensive understanding of Canadian Pacific's operations, policies, and procedures. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to work in various areas of the organization, including Transportation, Engineering, Mechanical, and other departments, to gain a well-rounded understanding of the railway industry. The program is structured to include both classroom and on-the-job training, with a focus on developing leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Trainees will also have the opportunity to work on special projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements. At the successful completion of the program, trainees will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to assume a leadership role within the organization, such as a Superintendent, Manager, or Coordinator position.
