Role Overview – Event Production Manager (Corporate Events)
The Event Production Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, production, and execution of corporate events such as conferences, leadership meetings, product launches, sales kick-offs, award ceremonies, exhibitions, investor events, employee engagement programs, and client events. The role manages production, logistics, vendors, budgets, timelines, and on-site operations to deliver high-quality experiences that align with organizational goals and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Production
- Lead end-to-end production planning for corporate events.
- Develop production timelines, run-of-show documents, and event schedules.
- Coordinate staging, audiovisual (AV), lighting, LED screens, sound, scenic design, and branding.
- Ensure event production aligns with corporate identity and messaging.
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, HR, sales, leadership, and external agencies.
- Translate business objectives into production requirements.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and approvals.
Vendor & Venue Management
- Source, negotiate, and manage production vendors and event suppliers.
- Coordinate with venues regarding technical specifications and operational requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery, setup, and dismantling of equipment and event infrastructure.
Budget & Financial Management
- Develop and manage production costings.
- Track expenses and ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Negotiate competitive pricing while maintaining quality.
Production & Technical Management
- Oversee AV production, live streaming, hybrid event technology, lighting, sound, stage management, and presentation support.
- Ensure all production systems are tested before the event.
On-Site Event Execution
- Lead on-site production teams and technical crews.
- Monitor event timelines and resolve production issues in real time.
- Ensure seamless execution of presentations, entertainment, and event transitions.
Post-Event Management
- Oversee event breakdown and vendor closeout.
