Role Overview:
Qualcomm India is hiring a Camera & Computer Vision Systems Engineer to design and optimize advanced imaging, camera, and vision algorithms for next‑generation mobile and embedded platforms. You’ll work across HW/SW teams to build high‑performance, hardware‑accelerated imaging solutions that power cutting‑edge camera experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize camera, computer vision, and image processing algorithms for mobile and embedded SoCs.
- Prototype, benchmark, and tune algorithms for hardware acceleration and real‑time performance.
- Collaborate with product and commercialization teams for camera pipeline optimization, performance profiling, and benchmarking.
- Support system validation, regression testing, and release readiness.
What You Bring:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s / PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields from top engineering institutes (e.g., IIT/NIT/IIIT or equivalent globally),
- With strong academic performance and a solid foundation in algorithms and systems.
- Experience:
- 3–8 years in Computer Vision, Camera Imaging, or Image Processing.
- Proficiency in C/C++, data structures, and algorithm development.
- Experience with camera technologies, imaging systems, or camera pipeline development.
- Exposure to ML/DL, embedded/ARM programming, SIMD optimizations, or accelerator‑based architectures.
