Work Experience
- Adopt and implement professional software engineering practices and best practices throughout the full software development lifecycle
- Translate business requirements into highly scalable and available application components and services using a service-oriented architecture
- Collaborate closely with technical leads, product owners, and cross-functional teams to:
- Share best practices and industry knowledge
- Discuss and motivate design solutions
- Align on requirements and validate the technical approach
- Utilize monitoring tools and work closely with support teams to proactively identify and troubleshoot issues in the application or platform
- Continuously improve processes and tooling to enhance developer productivity and code quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience as a software engineer
- Deep knowledge of integration and API technologies, including Apache Camel, SOA architecture, enterprise integration patterns, web services, and message queuing
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java 11+, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and Oracle 19c development
- Proficiency in cloud technologies, such as AWS (S3, NoSQL DB, EKS, ECS, API Gateway, Serverless)
- Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD, Kanban) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Gitlab, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to understand and translate business requirements
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
